WELCOME PAWS RESCUE Adoption Application

Thank you for your interest in adopting a dog through Welcome Paws Rescue. This application is designed to help us, as well as you, ensure that the dog you are considering is the right fit for your household and lifestyle. All adopting parties are required to complete this form before moving forward with the adoption process. Please be aware that Welcome Paws reserves the right to deny any adoption based on the responses provided in this questionnaire and/or interviews conducted before the adoption.

Commitment and Responsibility:

Adopting a dog is a significant commitment. We ask that all family members are fully on board with the decision to adopt and care for a dog. The dogs we rescue require not just physical care, but also love, patience, and time to adjust to their new homes. While we assess our dogs in a shelter and foster environment, their behavior in a new environment with new people may differ. Please only apply if you and your entire family are prepared for this responsibility. Our dogs often come from difficult situations, including high-stress shelters, where they may have faced neglect or abuse. It’s crucial that you are ready to help them adjust and offer them the stability they need. We encourage you to consider the long-term commitment involved in adopting one of our dogs.

Full payment is required to complete the adoption process.
